1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file saved to your browser by the websites you visit. It lets sites remember you, store your preferences and keep certain features working. In this policy, 'cookie' also covers technologies that store data in your browser in a similar way, such as local storage.
2. Cookies used on our site
In line with the Turkish Data Protection Authority's Guidelines on Cookie Practices, we list every cookie we use below. We currently run NO analytics or marketing cookies on this site.
- ▸sct-cookie (essential / preference) — Stores your response to the cookie notice so it is not shown again on every page. It is kept in your browser's local storage, remains until you delete it, and is not sent to our server.
- ▸Admin panel session cookie (essential) — Created only for authorised staff who sign in to the admin screen at /panel. It is not created for site visitors, expires after 12 hours and is set as HttpOnly.
Both cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function and, under Law No. 6698 and the related electronic communications regulation, do not require explicit consent.
3. Cookies we may use in future
If we later add cookies for visitor statistics or advertising measurement, they will run only after we obtain your explicit consent. Such cookies usually fall into these groups:
- ▸Performance and analytics cookies: to understand how pages are used (for example visit counts and time on page).
- ▸Marketing and targeting cookies: to measure the impact of advertising campaigns and show you relevant content.
If that changes, this page will be updated and the cookie notice will be shown again.
4. Managing your preferences
On your first visit you can choose 'Accept all' or 'Essential only' in the cookie notice. To change your choice later, click the 'Cookie Preferences' link at the bottom of any page.
You can also block cookies entirely or delete stored cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, some parts of the site may not work as expected.
